How ironic that the news today in NZ includes Tower. Ins being prosecuted for overcharging $mills - who’s a significant shareholder? ACC. This is the bases of the problem I believe, it is archaic and unethical and not fit for purpose as it twists the data to suit an agenda of ‘no fault’. It will be bankrupted when the truth comes out.
Acc are certainly corrupt. Although I’ve had multiple specialists tell acc that I have metal fragments peppered through my back they refuse to acknowledge it. This is because after my 2008 surgery I told them I believed metal had been left in me. They ordered an X-ray and told me there isn’t. I’ve had radiologists deleting them from the scans since 2008. I do have radiologist reports stating they are there but acc just say they aren’t as if they acknowledged them they would have to provide an explanation as to why they’ve been telling me there are none
I'm from New Zealand myself and I'm impressed with the effort that's gone into this but I have a feeling that criticizing the health system will be rather an unpopular avenue to follow
